Rejection rejection

Wednesday 26 May 2004This is over 20 years old. Be careful.

John Kador has written a rejection letter for rejection letters:

Despite your company’s outstanding qualifications and previous experience in rejecting applicants, I find that your rejection does not meet with my requirements at this time. As a result, I will be starting employment with your firm on the first of the month.

As somebody who is coming up on his first anniversary of being laid off, and who has been rejected for being "old", "overqualified", "probably going to leave when the economy improves" and all sorts of unbelieveable "stuff", this is an utter hoot. Maybe I should try it on one of the three jobs that I have interviewed for--which I did not get--which hired "fantastic people"--and which are now being posted AGAIN! I guess they weren't so fantastic!
