A tale of a bone-headed PR person at Google from Jon Udell:

[the PR person], who let's recall is employed by the world's leading search engine, replies:

"What does Gdata refer to? We don't have a product called Gdata that I'm aware of....."

I am not making this up.

The joke that product managers used to tell:

When on the press tour, the way to spot the PR person is when you ask them "what is your name?" they respond "Good question, I will have to get back with you on that."
